spiritual companioning

what is spiritual companioning?

it’s an exploration, an inquiry, an experience.

is it faith based?

well yes, it is. faith in yourself, your potential, your version of the divine, God, a higher power, your higher self.

here’s what it’s not- dogmatic or directive, suggestive or limited to a faith tradition. instead, it’s a safe, confidential, inspired exploration of the role spirit and spirituality plays in your life.

what’s the difference between this and counseling or coaching, and why would i seek it?

spiritual companioning is for people interested in deepening their spiritual life. similar to coaching or counseling, we might seek spiritual companioning when we are in crisis, or navigating grief, or when we are discerning a decision or facing overwhelming change. different is there is no counsel or coaching- just reflection, listening, an unearthing of your spirit.

sometimes we have a clear reason for seeking spiritual direction and companioning, sometimes not. often it’s simply an urge to connect with something deeper- our version of God, spirit, the divine.

meetings are monthly and conducted by zoom. please email me if you’d like to learn more about spiritual companioning.
